Today the Deputy Prosecutor General of Russia, Nikolai Shishkin, officially introduced the new prosecutor of Kirov Oblast, Yuri Ryvaev. This was reported by Governor Alexander Sokolov. Recall that earlier the decree appointing Ryvaev was signed by the president.

      Long-distance passenger traffic by train from Kirov to Moscow for January–October 2025 increased by 1.1%. According to the Gorky Railway, 241.5 thousand people used the routes between Kirov and the capital over the ten months. Recall that Kirov is connected to Moscow by 15 direct and through trains.

      An increase in passenger traffic is being recorded not only in Kirov. From Izhevsk, 117.5 thousand people departed in this direction (+1%); four trains operate between the cities. From Kazan, 645 thousand passengers went to Moscow over the ten months — an increase of almost 5%.

      The Nizhny Novgorod direction remains the busiest: more than 1.2 million people traveled from there to Moscow, which is 1% more than a year earlier. Twenty-eight trains operate between the cities.
