Rakhim Azimov: the "Silver Constellation" competition has contributed to preserving historical memory

      The "Silver Constellation" project has been implemented in the Kirov Region since 2019 at the initiative of Rakhim Azimov in cooperation with the Kirov Regional "Znanie" Society. Over seven years, 132 social projects have been implemented within the competition, totaling more than 8.5 million rubles.

      Natalya Shedko, chair of the "Znanie" Society, emphasized:

      — Every year "Silver Constellation" gives active people the opportunity to implement their ideas. We see how great the response is and how important these initiatives are for the territories. The project exists thanks to people who, through their work, strengthen the connection between generations, and that is one of the main tasks of our work.

      This year the competition was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and became an important platform for preserving historical memory, cultural traditions and strengthening intergenerational ties. The winners were the authors of 24 initiatives from 18 districts of the Kirov Region and the city of Kirov.

      Participants at the meeting asked the deputy to continue the competition.

      — We will be happy if the project continues. As long as the link between generations, attention and respect for elders remain, our country is invincible, — said Larisa Kopysova, chair of the city veterans’ council, head of the "Aim for Victory!" project.

      — This is one of the most sincere competitions. Thanks to "Silver Constellation" our festival of patriotic song "The Song Also Fought" became a vivid event of the 80th Victory anniversary. We showcased the talent of veterans, uniting generations on one stage, — shared Marina Goryachikh, project author.

      — Our project was born out of a desire to be useful to our fellow countrymen — participants in the special military operation. We joined together to weave tactical bracelets. Each bracelet is a symbol of care and support. Thank you for the opportunity to take part in the competition — we will certainly continue the project, — noted Larisa Gavrilova on behalf of the participants of the "Army Bracelet as an Amulet" project, from the urban-type settlement of Murygino in Yuryansky District.

      At the end of the meeting Rakhim Azimov noted:

      — Since 2019 "Silver Constellation" has brought together people who not only want change, but make life around them better. This year generations united around preserving the historical memory of our Great Victory — we saw bright and sincere initiatives that resonated in the hearts of our fellow countrymen. At the request of the participants, we will certainly continue the competition next year.

      The next competition is planned for 2026. The start of applications will be announced in January.
