Sokolov reprimanded Sandalov, the Ministry of Housing and Utilities, and the Ministry of Finance for delaying the transfer of funds to Veseloye.

      Today, at the end of the meeting, Governor Alexander Sokolov asked the Ministry of Finance whether the funds that had been allocated to pay for the work had been sent to the village of Veseloe in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. The head of the department, Larisa Makoveeva, replied that they would be sent during the day. Sokolov ordered to be informed within 30 seconds after the money was sent. “And in future I would ask that such things not be allowed,” he added.

      The governor said that the funds are being transferred by the Ministry of Finance, but the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services is responsible for the work in Veseloe, which is overseen by the head of government, Mikhail Sandalov.

      “If there is another delay of more than a week, disciplinary action will be taken against all involved. A decision on this was made at the beginning of the year. The situation could have been sorted out a long time ago,” the head of the region said. “This is a state task — supporting our new territories. We may have to do without ourselves, but there it must be done first. If this happens again, I will order an inspection.”
