At a government meeting today, Governor Alexander Sokolov announced that an Alley of Glory will be created in Kirov near the Regional House of Folk Art. A foundation stone was laid there in the summer. However, the head of the region criticized the concept developed for the alley. According to him, the motifs for its design were taken "from past periods," and the people depicted in the images do not resemble participants in the special military operation. He ordered the concept to be revised together with the participants of the special operation themselves. Sokolov also said that by the autumn of 2027 memorial alleys should appear in all the region's municipalities. He ordered his subordinates to take this matter under control.
