Construction of a new section of Anzheliya Mikheeva Street in Kirov is nearing completion.
“We are creating a road network as part of various programs. This new street is being built thanks to the national project ‘Infrastructure for Life,’ under which necessary infrastructure is being constructed in microdistricts slated for development. In Kirov, under the project to stimulate housing construction, Chistoprudnenskaya, Torfyana and Rudnitskogo streets have already been built. A kindergarten will be built in the Urvantsevo microdistrict under this project,” noted First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Kirov Region Alexey Zherdev.
The length of the new section of Anzheliya Mikheeva Street is 311 meters. It will feature a four‑lane road 15 meters wide, as well as sidewalks with a bike lane, lighting and stormwater drainage.
Specialists from the “Unified Customer” during a site visit noted that the contractor has already completed the bulk of the planned work. Under the contract, construction of the section is to be completed by November 15.
