Cheptsov may end up in court.

      The Pervomaysky District Court of Kirov is continuing to consider the criminal case against the former head of the Tourism Development Center, Ruslan Mamedov. At the hearing held on October 30, the judge, at the end of the session, read out a list of witnesses who are planned to be called to give testimony at subsequent hearings. Among them was a person named Cheptsov — this was likely intended to refer to the current director of the Tourism Development Center, who took up the post after Mamedov.

      Earlier in court former employees of the institution and contractors who worked with the Center in 2023 had already testified. They gave evidence on episodes related to the organization of events, the signing of contracts and the transfer of funds. Read more about the last hearing here.
