      Criminal cases have been opened against the resident on grounds of offenses provided for in part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public calls for committing terrorist activities, public justification of terrorism or propaganda of terrorism), and items “v” and “d” of part 2 of Article 280.4 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public calls to carry out activities aimed against the security of the state).

      For committing this crime the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation provides for liability in the form of imprisonment for up to 10 years.
