In the Kirov Region, five fires and three traffic accidents occurred in the past 24 hours.
Over the past 24 hours, from 06:00 on October 24 to 06:00 on October 25, fire and rescue units of Kirov Oblast responded to the extinguishing of five fires and three road traffic accidents. This was reported by the press service of the regional Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM).
In Kirov, on Rukhlyadyeva Street, private garage bays caught fire. The fire damaged an area of 32 sq. m. Seven people and three vehicles from EMERCOM of Russia and the regional fire and rescue service took part in the firefighting.
A large fire also occurred in the village of Batashi in the Slobodskoy District. A garden house, a bathhouse and outbuildings caught fire. The area of the blaze amounted to 84 sq. m. Fourteen people and six vehicles from EMERCOM of Russia, municipal and volunteer fire services were involved in extinguishing the fire.
In addition, rescuers responded to three road traffic accidents and other emergency incidents.
