From January 1 to October 24, 2025, specialists from the Rosselkhoznadzor office for the Kirov Region issued 41 veterinary certificates for the export of pets outside Russia. A total of 45 pets were exported from the region during this period. The animals that traveled were mostly cats and dogs. They were taken to various countries, including Thailand, the United States, Turkey, Switzerland, Cyprus, Georgia, Italy, Vietnam, Spain, Belgium and the UAE, the regional Rosselkhoznadzor office reported. In addition, 421 kg of hunting trophies were exported from the region to Germany, Spain, the United States, Italy, Mexico, Austria, Iran and Canada, as well as 3.3 tonnes of feed additives to Moldova, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Georgia and Uzbekistan.
