A contractor in Kirov was overpaid 250,000 rubles for repairs.

      The Prosecutor’s Office of the Pervomaisky District of Kirov uncovered violations in the execution of a municipal contract for the repair of the drainage system at house No. 24 on Tsentralnaya Street in the village of Bolshaya Subbotikha. The inspection showed that the contractor completed the work for less than estimated, saving 250,000 rubles. However, the administration’s Department of Municipal Economy paid the contract in full, ignoring the savings. After the prosecutor’s intervention, the excess funds were returned to the city budget, and the inspection materials have been forwarded to the investigative authorities to assess possible violations of financial discipline.
