Seven baby hares were rescued in Kirov.
According to the center's staff, this year they received 11 leverets. Six of them were released into the wild, one is currently in the 'Nest' (see photo). Unfortunately, four more leverets have died.
Volunteers also told of the leveret they are currently caring for: "It was born at the end of August, so it has only now become ready for independent life. It is still small, but wary and quick, and if you look closely you can even see that its ears and hind legs are already changing the color of its coat to white."
