In Kirov, public-sector employees are more often congratulated on professional holidays.
According to a SuperJob study, 55% of Kirov residents receive congratulations on professional holidays at work. 34% of survey participants reported that such traditions do not exist in their teams.
Women, according to the study, are congratulated more often than men — 61% versus 49%. Attention to professional dates is also more often shown to mature employees (59%) than to young specialists (52%).
Those who receive the most congratulations are representatives of professions related to caring for people. Thus, 89% of educators, 86% of doctors, 80% of teachers and 78% of nurses said that colleagues and management do not forget their professional holidays.
In contrast, the tradition of marking professional dates is less common in creative and technological fields: among designers only 29% receive congratulations, marketers 32%, and programmers 34%.
As SuperJob analysts note, the tradition of congratulating colleagues on professional holidays is more strongly preserved in the public sector and noticeably weaker in commercial industries.
