A drug courier from Perm was detained in Kirov.
In Kirov, the investigation into a criminal case against a 39‑year‑old resident of Perm has been completed. He is accused of attempted distribution of synthetic drugs on an especially large scale, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Kirov region reports.
According to the investigation, the man worked as a stash runner in Perm. His task was to pick up large consignments of drugs, divide them into doses, and distribute them through hidden caches. Despite being aware that it was illegal, he agreed to the job for the money.
In October 2024, at the behest of an unidentified handler, the accused went to the Kirov region, where he picked up two large drug stashes with a total weight of more than 460 grams. He began packaging them into individual doses in a rented apartment but did not have time to start selling them because police officers detained him.
The man pleaded guilty; he is currently in custody. The case has been sent to the Oktyabrsky District Court of Kirov for consideration.
