In Kirov, they are looking for a raccoon dog.

      The Big Nest wildlife rescue center reported that a raccoon dog was spotted in the Druzhba neighborhood of Kirov. Reports from residents have been coming in for several days, but they arrive too late, so the animal has not yet been caught.

      Specialists clarified that it is a puppy of a wild raccoon dog that is behaving atypically. Kirov residents are advised not to try to catch or contact the animal themselves. If they encounter it, they can leave a small amount of food at a safe distance and immediately call the center or the unified dispatch service. If possible, they should monitor the animal until specialists arrive.

      The state veterinary service has already been notified. Capture and quarantine of the animal will be carried out jointly with that agency.
