Kirov residents will be vaccinated by mobile teams.
According to the regional health ministry, more than 62,700 children and 63,500 adults have already been vaccinated. To increase population coverage, three mobile vaccination units will operate in Kirov starting Monday.
The region’s chief freelance pediatric allergist-immunologist, Marina Ershkova, reminded that vaccination is the only way to build herd immunity. Parents are urged to take a responsible approach to this matter and not to refuse vaccination without medical justification. In addition, it is necessary to vaccinate children and older family members.
Children are being vaccinated in kindergartens, schools and colleges, as well as in polyclinics. For adults, additional mobile units are opening in the regional center:
- a unit of the Kirov Clinical and Diagnostic Center operates daily on Theatre Square (except September 21);
- from September 22 a vaccination point will open in the southwest district — at the Veterans’ Club at 3A E. Kochkina Street;
- from September 22 to October 5 vaccinations will be available at TSUM in the mobile unit of City Hospital No. 9.
