Residents of Kirov can hand in waste paper.
The autumn stage of the nationwide paper-collection campaign "BumBatl" is taking place in the Kirov Region. You can participate until November 30 — it’s a great chance to give paper a second life and help the environment.
How to take part?
Participate individually or with a team of friends. Register on the campaign website. Collect paper and drop it off at our eco-collection points at the following addresses: – EcoCentre, 64 Vsesvyatskaya St.: Tue–Fri 10:00–19:00, Sat 10:00–18:00, Sun and Mon closed. – EcoHome, 135 Vorovskogo St.: Tue–Fri 10:00–19:00, Sat 10:00–18:00, Sun and Mon closed.
What types of paper are accepted? – Corrugated cardboard: boxes from parcels and appliances; – Thin cardboard: craft material, packaging boxes from skincare products; – Office paper; – Newspapers, magazines, notebooks and kraft paper.
What is not accepted?
Toilet paper rolls and egg cartons: their short fibers make them unsuitable for recycling. Receipts: made from thermal paper that contains harmful substances. Drawings made with wax crayons: wax interferes with the recycling process. Laminated cardboard: the film prevents the paper fibers from breaking down effectively. Photographs: not recyclable due to their multilayer composition and photo paper materials.
Important: before dropping off, remove all staples, paper clips, tape and other foreign objects from the paper.
The "BumBatl" campaign is held in support of the national project "Environmental Well‑being," aimed at conserving natural resources, reducing waste volumes and fostering an environmental culture in society.
