Mikhail Krupnov, a student of Sports School No. 4 in the city of Kirov, secured a decisive victory at the All-Russian Greco-Roman wrestling competition held in Kazan.
At the 12th All-Russian competition named after Myagas Sakhabutdinov, more than 400 athletes from 46 regions of the country competed. The Kirov Region Ministry of Sports reported that Mikhail Krupnov confidently advanced to the final of the All-Russian juniors (under-21) competition, recording five early victories. In the final bout he achieved a decisive victory over a wrestler from the Republic of Adygea.
