Families of participants in the special military operation will receive compensation instead of firewood.
According to the regional government, the relevant decree was signed by the chairman of the regional government, Mikhail Sandalov. The regional government noted that replacing firewood with cash will allow families of participants in the special operation to independently and promptly purchase the necessary fuel on the market, without waiting for centralized deliveries. The regional government noted that the amount of compensation will equal the actual expenses for purchasing firewood but will not exceed 15,000 rubles. To receive the payment, citizens must submit a package of supporting documents to the social protection authorities or to an MFC.
