Nearly 40% of companies in Kirov have kept employees working remotely.

      Employees working remotely are currently employed in 39% of Kirov companies. However, in most cases this concerns only a small portion of the workforce: in 73% of organizations fewer than 10% of staff work remotely. Only 2% of employers reported that they have specialists working from abroad. Companies have retained the remote format where it is truly necessary and effective. As expected, the IT sector has become the leader in remote employment: in 34% of companies it is programmers and IT specialists who continue to work outside the office. Also among the top are sales specialists and engineers (20% each), HR managers (16%), accountants and finance professionals (10%). Call-center staff, lawyers and marketers work remotely less frequently. In the Kirov Region teachers are being offered 40,000 rubles per month. Kirov IT support specialists earn the least in the Volga Federal District, but find jobs faster. One in ten Kirov residents works as a freelancer, but many plan to return to the office.
