Construction has begun in Omutninsk on a separate building for the women's clinic. The building is being erected next to the inpatient facility of the Central District Hospital on Sportivnaya Street. According to the Ministry of Health, the new building will help ease the burden on the existing polyclinic. The women's clinic will be staffed by obstetrician-gynecologists and will house ultrasound and functional diagnostic rooms, a procedure room, a treatment room, a psychological support office, and a day ward. The facility will receive up to 100 patients per shift.
