
In Russia, five major banks have reduced deposit rates.
The reduction ranged from 0.05 to 1.5 percentage points, which is higher than the figures for the previous week, when rates were cut in the range of 0.25–0.9 percentage points. At that time, adjustments were made by six of the top 20 banks. This was reported by the press service of the financial marketplace Finuslugi, Ura.ru writes.
According to Finuslugi, as of August 22 the average rate on three‑month deposits at the largest banks was 15.83%, on six‑month deposits — 14.82%, and on one‑year deposits — 13.79%.
Calculations were made for deposits of 100,000 rubles without special conditions for terms of three, six and twelve months.
