Dolgikh was again remanded to pre-trial detention.
Today, August 22, the Kirov Regional Court considered Anton Dolgikh's appeal against the extension of the preventive measure in the form of his pretrial detention. At the hearing, lawyers Pavel Rozuvan and Violetta Volkova were present via videoconference. After considering the appeal, the court denied Dolgikh's appeal and left him in pretrial detention.
Recall that this is not Dolgikh's first attempt to challenge the preventive measure. Earlier, on June 26, the regional court also reviewed an appeal filed by Dolgikh against the Pervomaisky District Court's ruling on the preventive measure. On that occasion the court also refused Dolgikh's complaint.
On August 8, in the Oktyabrsky District Court of the city of Kirov, the preventive measure in the form of detention was extended for lawyer Dolgikh. The court left Dolgikh in pretrial detention until January 29, 2026.
