Road and bridge repairs continue in Kirov Oblast.
Work continues to improve the road network in Kirov Oblast. According to the Telegram channel of Governor Alexander Sokolov, this year, as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life," 41 roads with a total length of 222 km and 11 bridges are planned to be repaired.
To date, work has been fully completed on 19 sites, and another 7 are at a high degree of readiness. In Kirovo-Chepetsk 71% of the planned scope has been completed, readiness on regional roads and in Kirov exceeds 60%, and in Slobodskoy the work has already been fully completed.
Special attention is being paid to key projects: the construction of a tunnel under the Trans-Siberian Railway in Kirov and the completion of the reconstruction of a 25-kilometre section of the Vazyuk–Oparino road in the north of the region. All work is on schedule, which should improve the comfort and safety of travel in the region, the governor's Telegram channel noted.
