The decision to lift the special fire-prevention regime was based on recent precipitation. However, the Ministry of Forestry warns that the risk of forest fires remains, especially on warm, sunny weekends when many people head into nature.
Experts remind:
- light campfires only in specially equipped areas or in fire pits;
- do not discard matches or cigarette butts;
- thoroughly douse campfires with water or cover them with sand before leaving.
If you discover a fire, report it via the free Forest Protection hotline 8-800-100-94-00, by phone at (8332) 64-34-28, or by calling 112.
