The major renovation of Krupskaya Street has been completed.
The work, costing 26 million rubles, included the construction of sidewalks and the roadway, the replacement of the main collector to increase the stormwater drainage capacity, and the installation of a ramp and steps for pedestrian convenience, the Kirov administration said.
In addition, drainage channels with grates were installed along the section. In the near future, as part of routine maintenance, the road shoulders will be improved — topsoil will be spread between the sidewalks and the roadway, after which a lawn will be sown.
In total, 20 sites are planned to be repaired in Kirov this year. So far, 9 of them have been commissioned, including Krupskaya Street. Work under the national project "Infrastructure for Life" continues on Tsentralnaya Street in Ganino, Chapaeva Street and Krasina Street. The remaining sites are scheduled for completion by September.
