
Kirovstat: Prices have risen by almost 5 percent since the beginning of the year.
As noted by the department, services became more expensive for the population of Kirov Oblast in July. This was significantly influenced by an increase in the cost of utilities. For example, the electricity charge rose by 12.3%, and gas supply by 11.5%. Cold water supply and sewage became 11% more expensive, and the handling of solid municipal waste increased by 10.2%.
Among other monitored services, the cost of an initial specialist doctor’s consultation and a dentist’s examination rose by 3% and 2.4% respectively. Cinema tickets became 2.4% more expensive, while the cost of a KASKO policy fell by 6.3%, as did the fee for using a consumer loan — by 2%.
Food products became, on average, 0.7% cheaper over the month. The dynamics were significantly influenced by a seasonal 7.8% decline in prices for fruit and vegetable products.
Non-food goods became, on average, 0.2% more expensive over the month. The largest price increases were recorded for robot vacuum cleaners (5.5%), LED lamps (3.5%), and USB flash drives (3.3%).
The price of AI-95 grade gasoline rose notably by 2.1%. AI-92 grade gasoline increased even more, by 2.6%.
