A teenager broke into someone else's apartment and stole dishes, clothing, and a bathroom faucet.
The Verkhnekamsky Department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (OMVD) reported an apartment burglary in the settlement of Rudnichny. While the owner was away, someone entered her home and stole dishes, clothing and a bathroom faucet. The victim estimated the resulting damage at 8,000 rubles.
Detectives from the criminal investigation department were able to identify the suspected offender — a 17‑year‑old resident of the Verkhnekamsky district who had previously been on the police’s radar. It turned out the teenager got into the second‑floor apartment of an apartment building through an unlocked window and left the same way with the stolen items. The stolen goods were seized.
An investigator from the OMVD has opened a criminal case under Part 3 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (theft committed by unlawful entry into a dwelling). Investigative and other procedural actions are currently underway.
