A Kirov man had the premises where he stored and sold bootleg alcohol seized.
The confiscated premises were used to conduct business activities involving the storage and sale of unlabeled alcohol. This resulted in criminal prosecution and the subsequent confiscation of property. The transfer of the premises to the ownership of the Russian Federation was carried out in accordance with the procedure established by law through the Interdistrict Territorial Office (MTU) of Rosimushchestvo in the Udmurt Republic and the Kirov Region. Notably, the convicted debtor did not voluntarily comply with the court’s order regarding the confiscation of property. When attempting to seize the property, the bailiff and a representative of Rosimushchestvo encountered resistance from an employee of the retail outlet: the man refused to allow the government officials to enter. In this connection, officers from the special-purpose unit of the Main Directorate were engaged, who ensured safe and lawful access to the site, and the Kirov resident who obstructed the bailiff’s lawful activities was held administratively liable. Further disposition of the confiscated premises will be carried out in accordance with the legislation, including possible use for socially significant purposes or by sale at auction.
