Malmyzh officials will be prosecuted for false testimony and fabrication of evidence.
Conviction reports have been approved by the prosecutor of the Malmyzh district, and the materials have been forwarded to the court for consideration on the merits.
Previously, based on a lawsuit filed by the district prosecutor's office, the court recovered nearly 200,000 rubles from the former head of the Kalininsky rural settlement administration—illegally awarded bonuses paid without grounds. During the investigation, administration employees called as witnesses gave false testimony and submitted forged documents to the court.
The court critically assessed these materials and satisfied the prosecutor's claim. Subsequently, the oversight agency forwarded the materials to law enforcement authorities. Criminal cases have been initiated against the municipal employees under Articles 303 and 307 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
They now face charges for attempting to obstruct justice.
