Forty-six schools in Kirov are ready for the new school year.
During the acceptance process, specialists evaluate the sanitary condition of educational premises, the functionality of equipment, the operation of dining facilities and gyms, as well as compliance with safety standards. One of the most recent inspected facilities was the building of School No. 32 on Krasina Street, where cosmetic repairs were carried out and doors in classrooms were replaced.
This year, more than 163 million rubles have been allocated from the Kirov budget for preparing schools. The funds are directed, among other things, towards upgrading video surveillance systems and repairing sanitary facilities. For example, School No. 70 has already installed new high-resolution cameras, and by September 1, the school plans to improve the staircase on its premises using funds allocated by city council deputies.
The acceptance campaign will conclude by August 15.
