In Kirov, assistance to the homeless has been increased.

      More than 130,000 rubles have been spent on new equipment: a drying machine, a hairdressing chair, recirculators, a computer for informational support, and other necessary tools.

      The total project funding will amount to 2 million rubles (out of a total budget of 3 million). As the organizers note, the majority of funds are allocated to staff salaries, without whom regular and coordinated assistance would be impossible.

      The organization has long been providing urgent and practical help to people in difficult life situations: those in need have access to a hairdresser, a shower, facilities to wash clothes, and receive consultations. A significant portion of everyday needs are met by the residents of Kirov themselves — city residents regularly donate clothes, soap, toothpaste, and other items, and participate in volunteer activities.

      Thanks to joint efforts of grant organizations, staff, and compassionate citizens, homeless people in Kirov now have a stable support point and the opportunity to gradually return to normal life.

Public organizations, government representatives, and philanthropists discussed how to help people experiencing difficult life situations.
