Firefighters in the Orichevsky district rescued a girl trapped in fuel oil near an abandoned boiler house.

The incident occurred on the premises of an abandoned boiler room in the village of Levinci, Orichevsky District. An 11-year-old girl was nearby and decided to go down into the ravine. At its bottom, she found an old tar puddle, in which the child got stuck.

Frightened, the schoolgirl called the emergency system 112. In response to the alarm, a team from the 44th fire and rescue unit, led by Andrei Vorobyov, arrived at the scene.

The search was complicated by tall grass and the large area of abandoned territory — the ravine was not visible. However, the girl remained in contact and, upon hearing the siren of the fire truck, was able to guide the rescuers. One of them went down to the child, freed her from the thick oil mass, and handed her over to colleagues upstairs.

Fortunately, the girl was not injured.
