In Kirov, a veteran of the SVD received a new apartment instead of an emergency housing thanks to the intervention of the prosecutor's office.

The Prosecution Office of the Pervomaysky District of Kirov helped a participant in a special military operation obtain improved housing instead of an emergency one. According to the department's press service, the man was residing in a house on Spasskaya Street, which was declared emergency back in 2021. Despite this, inclusion in the municipal resettlement program only scheduled new housing for 2029. After the citizen's appeal, the prosecutor's office conducted a check on compliance with legislation regarding resettlement from emergency housing. As a result, the supervisory authority filed a lawsuit demanding that Kirov's administration provide the applicant with an equivalent improved living space out of turn. The court satisfied the claim, and its decision has already been executed — the participant in the special military operation received a new apartment. The prosecution emphasized that they will continue to defend the rights of needy citizens, especially in situations involving violations of reasonable resettlement timelines from emergency housing.
