Rosselkhoznadzor inspected the "Kstinin Hell"
The Rosselkhoznadzor in the Kirov Region, Udmurtia, and Perm Krai responded to numerous citizen appeals and information provided by the regional veterinary service regarding the conditions of animal keeping on the site of a resident of Kstino village, Kirovo-Chepetsky District.
Inspectors conducted a field inspection of the private farm. It was reported that the territory of the site was not fully fenced — there was no fence on the side of the wasteland. At the same time, no goats, cats, chickens, or rabbits were found on-site by the specialists.
According to the information from KOYBU "Kirovo-Chepetsky District SBA," there are 38 goats, 32 chickens, 9 cats, and 1 rabbit registered with the institution. In June, the animals were vaccinated against rabies and avian influenza, and diagnostic tests were performed for tuberculosis, brucellosis, and leptospirosis. The animals were tagged. One case of goat death was recorded, but laboratory tests did not confirm anthrax.
During the inspection, Rosselkhoznadzor established that veterinary requirements regarding the conditions of small ruminant keeping were violated: animals must be kept inside a fenced area in specially equipped premises. The site owner was issued a warning about the inadmissibility of violations.
We remind you that earlier, Newsler.ru reported on the situation in Kstino. Volunteers stated that dozens of animals were kept in unsanitary conditions: dogs, goats, and cats were confined in tight cages without water, food, or care, and some were already dead. Following publication and local residents' complaints, activists and animal protection advocates were dispatched to the site. The fate of most of the animals remains unknown.
