
A teenager in Kirov was sentenced to 3.5 years in a prison colony for drug trafficking.
The Novovyatsky District Court of Kirov sentenced a 17-year-old local resident, who was found guilty of attempting to illegally sell significant and large quantities of drugs. According to the press service of the Kirov region prosecutor's office, the teenager operated as part of a criminal group in conspiracy.
From January to February 2025, he was involved in distributing synthetic drugs remotely — using the internet. He placed pre-prepared drug caches throughout the city.
At the time of his arrest, over 30 grams of drugs were confiscated from 26 hideouts. The court considered the opinion of the public prosecutor and sentenced the teenager to 3.5 years of imprisonment. He will serve his sentence in an educational colony.
The criminal prosecution of the other members of the group is ongoing.
