Today, July 26, the prices for fuel at Kirov gas stations increased again. The liter of AI-95 "Euro" gasoline became 30 kopecks more expensive and now costs 62 rubles 83 kopecks.
Note that since the beginning of this year, the price of a liter of 95-octane gasoline has increased by 2 rubles 35 kopecks: on January 1, 2025, this fuel cost 60 rubles 48 kopecks per liter.
Since the start of summer 2025, fuel prices at Kirov gas stations have been rising almost weekly. For example, on July 11, drivers had to pay 62 rubles 33 kopecks for a liter of 95-octane gasoline, and on Saturday, July 19, already 62 rubles 53 kopecks.
"Tatneft," which Governor Sokolov promised back at the end of 2023 and to which land plots for building gas stations in Kirov and the region were supposedly allocated in 2024, has still not moved beyond words. Likewise, another promise by Sokolov to "sort out" the situation with the regular increase in gasoline prices, when residents of the Kirov region asked for a solution to this problem, remains unfulfilled.
