Bastrykin demanded a new report on the orphan's case from Sosnovka

A resident of Sosnovka, an orphan and a single mother, complained on the official account of the Information Center of the Investigative Committee of Russia on VKontakte about the lack of tangible results regarding her case of being provided with unsuitable housing. Her appeal prompted a response from the head of the agency.

According to the woman, in 2018 she was allocated an apartment in a building on Sovetskaya Street in Sosnovka. The building was constructed with violations: cracks appeared in the walls, during precipitation the upper floors were flooded, and the temperature regime in the apartments was not maintained. Despite residents' appeals, the developer did not fix the identified defects, and the repair costs were effectively shifted onto the owners themselves.

Additionally, the orphan had to pay utility debts for a property she did not reside in. Later, she was provided with another small apartment, but it was also in poor condition — damp, infested with insects, with cracks in the walls and deformed load-bearing structures.

Despite numerous appeals to various authorities, the problem remained unresolved. The situation gained public resonance and was covered by the media.

The Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kirov Region initiated a criminal case regarding this incident. Previously, Alexander Bastrykin had already ordered a report on the investigation’s progress, but now demanded a repeat report from Acting Head of the Regional Directorate Maxim Kozlov, detailing the investigative actions taken and the circumstances established.

The progress of this task is under control at the central office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

Bastrykin ordered a report after the facade of a building in Kirov collapsed.

In Kirov, a squirrel and a rat attacked homeowners.

In Kirov, a bank employee handed over 2.6 million rubles to scammers, believing in a "cryptocurrency income."
