The five-thousandth passenger of the Kirov-Chepetsk elektryczka was congratulated before departure.

      Elena Stakheeva from Saint Petersburg became the 5,000th passenger on the Kirov – Chepetsk electric train route. She was congratulated before the train's departure and received commemorative gifts.

      According to the Gorky Railway press service, the automated system that tracks tickets purchased at ticket offices, kiosks, on the carrier's website, and via the "RZD Passengers" mobile app helped identify the anniversary passenger.

      Elena Stakheeva was presented with a certificate confirming her status as the 5,000th passenger, as well as a gift. She noted that she has used this route several times during her leisure trips in the Kirov region: "It's very quick and convenient to get from Kirov to Kirovo-Chepetsk by this electric train," said the passenger.

      The new Kirov – Chepetsk route was launched on June 16, 2025. As part of the project, new platforms were built in the Novovyatsky district of Kirov: on Sovetskaya Street, in the Lugovye sloboda, and at the Chepetsk station in Kirovo-Chepetsk.

      Suburban trains run daily. Departures from Kirov are at 05:10, 06:21, 18:05, and 19:03. From Kirovo-Chepetsk — at 06:33, 07:35, 19:05, and 19:53.
