Sokolov criticized the authorities of Slobodskoy District for the invasive heracleum.

Governor Alexander Sokolov summarized his trip to the Slobodskoy district. One of the main issues was the unsatisfactory level of control over giant hogweed. According to district head Alexander Kostylev, more than 100 hectares of land have been treated this year. However, the governor considered this insufficient. Sokolov noted that the Slobodskoy district lags behind other areas in hogweed control and has the worst situation in the region. Other issues were also discussed. During the trip, the governor inspected sites in Slobodskoy where a children's clinic and a fire station are being built. The readiness of these facilities is 80% and 70%, respectively. Additionally, Sokolov ordered to tidy up around the "Trud" stadium, repair the facade of the "Trade Rows" building on Sovetskaya Street, and standardize the signage of retail outlets. Finally, the governor instructed the district head to prepare a map of tourist attractions in Slobodskoy. The Ministry of Culture was tasked with assisting in the renovation of the facade of the local history museum building.
