On July 18, six man-made fires occurred in the Kirov Region, including:
in the village of Bazhelka, a two-family house covering 126 square meters caught fire. Six people and four units of equipment from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations and municipal fire services responded to the scene.
in the city of Luz, on Kirova Street, a private residential house caught fire. The roof sheathing and gables covering 64 square meters were burned. Firefighters, consisting of 10 people and four units of equipment from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, extinguished the fire.

Additionally, rescue units in the Kirov Region responded to six traffic accidents and other emergency situations. One incident was also registered at a water body: in the Orlovsky district near the village of Kazakovtsevo, a man’s body was found in the Vyatka River. Investigative actions are currently ongoing regarding this case.
The man who drowned in Vyatka had been missing since October 2024. The EMERCOM reported on house fires, a bus accident, and a man who drowned.
