The police dog found the stolen vodka.
On the night of July 15 in Kirov, a report of robbery was received by the police at a 24-hour store on Kalinina Street. The cashier reported that a drunken customer took two bottles of vodka from the display, hid them in his pockets, and ran away despite her attempts to stop him.
Soon, a police K-9 officer with a dog named Grey arrived at the scene. The dog tracked the suspect from the store and led the officers directly to the suspect's house. The investigators interviewed witnesses and identified the suspect as a 42-year-old local resident who had already left his apartment.
Later, the man was detained in one of the stores. Police found both bottles of vodka at his home. The suspect confessed and expressed remorse. A criminal case was initiated against him. The man faces up to seven years in prison.
