In Kirov, Rosgvardiya prevented a credit fraud attempt

      Around 9 a.m., the alarm button was triggered at a bank on Maklina Street in Kirov. The signal was received at the security control room, and a Rosgvardiya detention team promptly responded to the scene.

      Inside, law enforcement officers found a 50-year-old woman who, according to a bank employee, was attempting to transfer a significant amount of money to an unknown account. During a conversation with the Rosgvardiya officers, the woman explained that an unfamiliar person had called her and convinced her to take out a loan and then transfer the money.

      The Rosgvardiya officers suspected fraud and persuaded the woman to cancel the transaction. For further investigation, police officers were called to the scene.

      Thanks to the coordinated efforts of security personnel and bank employees, the transfer of funds and the potential loss of a large sum were prevented.
