The average level of competition in the labor market in the Kirov region is 4.4 active resumes per vacancy. This is considered a balanced ratio of supply and demand. However, according to open labor market analytics, there are professions with abnormally high or, conversely, very low numbers of applicants per position. The highest competition is observed among lawyers, with an average of 105 applicants for the position of legal department director. The situation is similar among HR managers, with 103 resumes per vacancy. High competition is also observed among videographers and methodologists, with 83 applicants per position, while car washers have the lowest competition, with 82.7 resumes. At the same time, there is a severe shortage of specialists in manual and socially important professions in the region. For example, there are only 0.5 active resumes per vacancy for doctors or pharmaceutical pharmacists. A deficit is also observed among zootechnicians and cooks (0.8), turners and veterinarians (1.1 resumes per vacancy). Socially significant professions are those that directly impact the health and well-being of people and society as a whole. Analysts note that these specialists are currently in the highest demand in the region.
