The investigative and operational group of the police department No. 1 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city of Kirov went to the place. The driver of the Kia Rio, who was driving in the oncoming lane with his windows closed, was also identified and interviewed. A trolleybus glass study was conducted. There was no damage on it, characteristic of exposure to pneumatic weapons. The impact on the glass was carried out by a blunt rounded object with a low flight speed.
According to the driver of the car, he was driving fast enough, this could have caused the release of a small stone from under the wheel, which appeared on the road. Thus, during the inspection, there were no signs of a crime or an offense.
The police actions took place in the presence of a representative of a motor transport company, and the management of the organization was informed about the work carried out. The results of the audit were not appealed.
