It became known what prevents Kirov residents from working better

Specialists of the online recruiting platform hh.ru We interviewed residents of the Kirov region and found out what they expect from employers in order to work with greater efficiency. The results of the study showed that attention to employee initiatives, salary increases, and investments in training remain key measures.

Thus, 56% of respondents believe that management should listen to the advice of subordinates more often — this, in their opinion, will bring real benefits to the company. Almost the same number (55%) said that a salary increase would directly affect labor productivity. Half of the respondents (51%) noted the importance of professional training at the expense of the employer.

The survey participants paid less attention to technological updates: only 34% believe that the introduction of new solutions and the replacement of outdated equipment will actually increase labor efficiency. Another 30% were in favor of reducing pointless meetings and reducing the level of bureaucracy in companies.

Opinions vary markedly depending on the position. For example, novice specialists are most often waiting for improvements in working conditions (51%), while only 30% of top managers share this need. But managers are confident that new technologies are the key to productivity (56% of positive responses), while younger employees believe in this significantly less (31%).

Line managers expressed the greatest fatigue from bureaucracy — 40% of the respondents. They are more likely than others to advocate for a salary increase (62%), while only 34% of the top managers agree with this.

Interestingly, 59% of employees admitted that they often have ideas for improving workplace processes. Most of them not only voice their proposals, but also see how some of them are being implemented. However, 20% of respondents reported that their initiatives are ignored, most often by junior specialists. Another 13% would like to change something, but, according to them, there is not enough time or energy to develop proposals.
