The tax service found errors in the certificates for deductions in the Kirov region

      Since the beginning of 2024, social tax deductions can be obtained in a simplified manner — according to electronic data from organizations providing services. However, in the Kirov region, the tax inspectorate revealed cases of possible errors in the transmitted information.

      According to the Federal Tax Service for the Kirov region, 72 suppliers — medical, educational and sports organizations — sent 294 certificates to the tax authorities for 2025, which completely coincide with the data for 2024. The agency admits that this is a technical error, but warns that if it is not corrected, it may lead to an unjustified return of personal income tax from the budget.

      For providing false information, an organization can be fined 20% of the amount of tax refunded on their basis. However, you can avoid punishment if you submit the updated data in time — before the error is detected by the tax authority.
