It became known what motivates Kirov residents to work more productively
Portal hh.ru I conducted a survey among employees of the Kirov region to understand what helps them maintain high productivity at work. As it turned out, the main motivation for 78% of respondents is a sense of self—worth. For most, this translates into a decent salary and recognition of merit both within the team and from the management.
This factor turned out to be especially important for young employees under the age of 24, as 76% of respondents in this age group indicated it.
Half of the survey participants (50%) admitted that the level of motivation largely depends on their professional training — the higher the qualification, the higher the desire to work efficiently. This response was more common among older respondents (55 years and older).
The atmosphere in the team was also an important factor for 57% of employees. Almost a quarter of the respondents (24%) admitted that they are inspired by their interest in the work itself, and for another 24%, understanding the benefits and meaning of the activity becomes motivation.
The stability of the company in which a person works also plays a big role, 54% of respondents said. Management support helps keep 22% of the survey participants productive.
In addition, 7% said that overwork negatively affects their motivation, while 2% have family and personal circumstances that affect their performance.
The survey showed that the motivation of Kirov residents consists of a complex of factors — from financial stability and the attitude of management to the atmosphere in the team and interest in the profession.
