Kirov region doubled plywood supplies to the UAE
The Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Kirov region reported that the export of birch plywood from our region to the United Arab Emirates doubled. From January 1 to June 19, 2.73 thousand cubic meters of birch plywood were exported from the Kirov region to the UAE: 2.2 times higher than the same period in 2024. At that time, our region exported 1.23 cubic meters of birch plywood to the UAE.
Recently, on June 16, another 1,055 cubic meters of birch plywood were exported from the Kirov region to the UAE. The Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Kirov region monitored the shipment. "In accordance with the phytosanitary requirements of the importing country, all products passed laboratory control at the Kirov branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution VNIIKR, which showed the absence of quarantine pests. Phytosanitary certificates have been issued for the products," the agency said.
