Kirovstat: the maximum salary increase in the region was 22 percent
According to the agency, the nominal accrued salary in the region in January — March of this year amounted to 62 thousand rubles. As noted in Kirovstat, the trend of increasing wages relative to the first quarter of 2024 was observed in all sectors of the region's economy. The maximum increase in wages — 22% — was recorded in organizations engaged in agriculture, forestry, hunting, fishing and fish farming, as well as those engaged in activities in the field of culture and sports, leisure and entertainment. The smallest increase — only 9% — was recorded in public administration and military security organizations, social security organizations, and mining organizations.
According to the results of the first quarter of 2025, 346.1 thousand registered employees worked in organizations of the Kirov region. Every fourth employee of the region was a representative of manufacturing organizations, where the average salary was 75 thousand rubles. Among the enterprises of the manufacturing sector of the economy, the largest number of employees (24%) was concentrated in organizations for the production of finished metal products (except machinery and equipment) with a salary of 92.9 thousand rubles. In food production organizations (14%) - 64.2 thousand rubles, in wood processing and production of wood and cork products (except furniture) (11%) - 61.4 thousand rubles. The production of computers, electronic and optical products was the highest-paid activity in the manufacturing sector of the Kirov region economy with an average salary of 99 thousand rubles.
The average monthly salary, which significantly exceeds the regional average, was noted in financial and insurance organizations (40% higher), manufacturing industries (21% higher), and information and communications workers (18% higher).
Social workers in the Kirov region were below the average wage level. The average salary for January — March 2025 in the field of healthcare and social services amounted to 54.9 thousand rubles. In the field of culture and sports, leisure and entertainment — 53.7 thousand rubles. In education — 47.8 thousand rubles.
The lowest level of remuneration — less than 43 thousand rubles — was recorded in the areas of "activities of hotels and catering enterprises", "administrative activities and related additional services".
