Kirov resident had to cut and remove a tree that had collapsed on the road on his own.
During a terrible evening thunderstorm that covered Kirov on June 10, a part of a tree broke off in the courtyard of houses on Metallurg Street and collapsed onto the road. Half of the next day has passed since the incident, and the trunk was still "lying around", preventing motorists from leaving the small nook. As a result, one of the residents couldn't stand it and decided to cut down and remove the fallen tree that was in the way.
Separately, we note that today, on June 11, the Kirov administration assured citizens that the city services promptly began to eliminate the consequences of yesterday's disaster. "The broken branches were promptly removed from the roadways and sidewalks," the mayor's office wrote.
Moreover, it says: "Today, the harvesting of branches and trees continues in parks, squares, and lawns. Teams of specialists are working on Oktyabrsky Prospekt, Severo-Sadovaya, Zavodskaya, Pyatnitskaya, Kazanskaya, Preobrazhenskaya, and Karl Marx streets." Apparently, the specialists decided not to look into the small courtyard in the Fileyka area, putting the problem on the shoulders of the residents, who did not wait for the workers to arrive.
Earlier, we wrote about a terrible incident — an emergency poplar tree fell on an apartment building on Krasina Street. Read the details here.
